PeopleCert Exams (ITIL, Prince2, CobiT 2019, DevOps)
Retake: If you wish to purchase the retake option (ensuring a second chance if you fail), you can buy it for R$ 520.00 (subject to change due to dollar exchange rate fluctuations). This must be paid before the voucher is issued. Once the voucher is issued or the exam is taken, it is impossible to generate the retake.
If you pass, the Retake fee will not be refunded by the institute, nor can it be redeemed for cash or exchanged for another product/credit. Consider this option as insurance. The candidate must opt for the retake before taking the exam (It works like insurance: you choose it before the “accident,” not after).
As soon as you pay for the exam, we will send an email offering this option with all procedures.
Candidates have up to 6 months to prepare and take their new exam, starting from the date of the initial exam. In other words, you have 1 year to take the first exam and, if you fail, another 6 months to prepare!
The course access period remains 1 year, regardless of whether the additional Retake time is used. Course renewal is conditional upon purchasing a new course license + exam.
If the candidate does not take the standard exam (no-show), they cannot use the Retake to replace the missed exam. Therefore, NEVER miss the exam the first time. Retake does not replace unattempted exams.
The Retake can be used only once. The sale of a Retake is only allowed for each new exam purchased. If you fail both attempts, you must purchase a new exam (full price) and opt for the Retake again.
There is no way to opt for the Retake after the voucher has been issued. This decision must be made as soon as possible!
We cannot sell the Retake without the exam, as PeopleCert does not allow it. So, first, the candidate must buy the exam with PMG Academy, and then they will receive a link to opt for the Retake.
If the student failed and did not purchase the retake, they must purchase a new voucher at full price.
EXIN Exams
For EXIN exams, there is no retake option.
So, if you fail the exam, you must pay the full price again (EXIN does not grant discounts for redoing the exam, such as “rebates,” “Second Shot,” “Retake,” or “Second Chance”) and then schedule a new appointment.
You can repeat this procedure as many times as necessary until you pass your exam.
There is no minimum waiting period to attempt the exam again.

ISACA Exams
For ISACA exams, there is no retake option.
So, if you fail the exam, you must pay the full price again (ISACA does not grant discounts for redoing the exam, such as “rebates,” “Second Shot,” “Retake,” or “Second Chance”) and then schedule a new appointment.
You can repeat this procedure as many times as necessary until you pass your exam.
There is no minimum waiting period to attempt the exam again.
Exames do IT-Shaped
For IT-Shaped exams, there is a retake option with a payment of 50% of the standard price, sold directly by the IT-Shaped institute (https://itshaped.org/). It must be taken within 60 days after the initial failed result.
